A Rancho Cordova woman killed Wednesday night when her car overturned on light-rail tracks has been identified as Sarah Berner, 22.

The car overturned about 9 p.m. near Folsom Boulevard and Mine Shaft Lane, California Highway Patrol Officer Rich Wetzel said.

No trains were involved in the single-vehicle crash.

It is unclear how many people were in the car, but one person was thrown out, he said. Another person was injured and taken to UC Davis Medical Center.

Repair of the crossing arms damaged in the crash did not disrupt train service, a spokeswoman said.
