Camino Wine Tasting Plaza, 3500 Carson Rd.
Thursday, August 23rd, from 5:30 to 8:00 pm The second Friends of the Library event is "Wine for Words" which will be held at the Camino Wine Tasting Plaza at 3500 Carson Rd., on Thursday, August 23rd, from 5:30 to 8:00 pm. Tickets are $15 each, which includes wine tasting from four different wineries, a wine glass and great appetizers. "Wine for Words" is a benefit to raise money to purchase books for the library. We will also have drawings for great prizes and we'll have a live auction. 10% of all wine sales that evening and all funds from the drawings and auction will go to the library.

Before the event we'll need volunteers to help sell tickets. The evening of the event we need volunteers to take tickets, to hand out wine glasses, to help with set up and clean up, and to sell drawing tickets. Tickets are available for purchase at the main library in Placerville and Camino Wine Tasting Plaza or by calling Barbara Garcia.
