lion in our area. I am unable to contact fish and game directly and have tried to
do so many times over the past week.We live at 627x Red Robin Rd.in
Placerville.There have many many sightings of this mountain lion over the past
week or so, it is huge and is estimated to be well over 300 pounds.The mountain
lion is also creating a disturbance with its screeching all night long
every night.

On Aug. 18 Machado was arrested on criminal charges of perjury and conspiracy to commit a crime with regard to real estate. On Aug 23 the Placerville City Council voted unanimously to remove Machado as mayor of Placerville and to request that he take a leave of absence from his position on the City Council.
