The El Dorado County Board of Supervisors will hold a special meeting at 1 p.m. Monday to review maps for potential use in identifying areas appropriate for oak woodland conservation easements.

An El Dorado County man ended up in jail after an argument during yard work went too far, deputies said.
On May 21, deputies from the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office responded to the 1600 block of Swansboro Road in Mosquito at around 4:47 p.m. There they found John Dillon Buffer, 46, who allegedly had gotten into a shouting match with his neighbor, according to a report.
