Construction Resumes on Cameron Park Assisted Living Complex

El Dorado County Counsel Lou Green announces that the County has prevailed in the Lawsuit brought against the County by The California Native Plant Society and the Center for Sierra Nevada Conservation.  Building an assisted living for up to 345 seniors, including 50 to 60 with Alzheimer's disease will now resume. $500k fine still remains in limbo; City OKed for airport tree cut

Garden tour to feature shade plantings

Tahoe in Bloom, the fourth annual Lake Tahoe Historical Society Garden Tour, scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, will feature five wonderful gardens at the South Shore. One feature repeated in all the gardens is shade plantings.
