  The Community Center will host it's first dance. Big Band music will be the theme and musical requests are welcome.

Brown puts campaign for Supervisor on hold.

POLLOCK PINES – Kevin Brown, the leading candidate to replace the term limited Helen Bauman for El Dorado County Supervisor, announced that he would suspend his campaign to deal with a medical emergency in the family.

The Pollock Pines-Camino Community Center Association will host a Pasta Fest at 5 p.m. Saturday at 2675 Sanders Drive, Pollock Pines. The cost of $15 for adults and $7 for children 10 and younger includes a complete pasta dinner and salad bar, a no-host bar, drawings for prizes, live entertainment and dancing. Proceeds will benefit community center improvements.

Snuggled into the Sierra Nevada foothills bwtween Sacramento & Tahoe is a special place called the Coloma Lotus SValley. Carved over eons by the South Fork of the American River, the valley is special for many reasons. For one thihng, visitors and residents alike love the river.

Come kick off the Apple Hill season by joining us for the party. There will be music all day from Pete Richardson and our regular team of crafters will exhibit their wares. Food will be catered by Z Pie of Placerville, so come eat, drink and be merry. We

The picnic will be held at the Madrona Vineyards in Camino, The favorite bank, "Late for Dinner" will once again entertain and energize with the diverse sounds of Blues, Reggae Rhythm and Rock Fusion and Caribbean Pop. Folks are invited to bring a picnic, chairs and blanket. Madrona Vineyard wine and Microbrew will be available for donation. 3:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

This is a little pond in Camino, CA. This guy was fishing in this little, tiny inflatable boat that barely fit him. He had the whole pond to himself and that's good because it's a very small pond. I liked the contrast of the barren tree trunks against all that green.
