Night-time farming raises trouble with neighbor
El Dorado County is a place known for its agrarian roots, but one Pilot Hill man apparently takes farming a little more seriously than most, according to a recent El Dorado County Sheriff's report.

Outdoor concert: American River Acoustic Music Camp presents Houston Jones, performing a mix of country, blues, rock, gospel, bluegrass and Appalachian Celtic. Opening acts include Claudia Russell and the Folk Unlimited Orchestra. Food and beverages will be available for purchase, and there will be face-painting for the children. AAUW Placerville Announces Scholarship Recipients for 2007
Placerville, CA – Since its beginning in 1947, the Placerville branch of AAUW has been providing scholarships to local women seeking assistance in reaching their educational goals. This year, AAUW awarded six $500 scholarships to women in our community. There were 17 applicants.
The following five exceptional high school seniors were selected to receive the AAUW Dorothea Engstrom Scholarship:
