Brown puts campaign for Supervisor on hold.

POLLOCK PINES – Kevin Brown, the leading candidate to replace the term limited Helen Bauman for El Dorado County Supervisor, announced that he would suspend his campaign to deal with a medical emergency in the family.

El Dorado County has settled on a new building style for a concrete tilt-up building was deemed superior to conventional wood frame or steel construction for a new animal shelter to serve western El Dorado County.

The El Dorado County Board of Supervisors will hold a special meeting at 1 p.m. Monday to review maps for potential use in identifying areas appropriate for oak woodland conservation easements.
