the party.

are welcome.
The Lake Tahoe Snowmobile Association was formed in the 1960s, when riding areas
were open but snowmobiles were less powerful and a real challenge.
"The association has some of its original older members
who still ride, although some have gone to 'sno-mo' heaven. Modern sleds are
quieter, more powerful and less polluting, plus they can climb almost anything -
how things have changed," said John Breylinger, association president.
The LTSA promotes safe riding and group rides, with some out
of state, in addition to environmental and political issues to keep riding areas
open to snowmobilers. The group also has summer activities such as a club
barbecue and highway cleanups over Luther Pass to Pickets Junction.
The club meets the second Thursday of each month from October through April. For
more information, call Breylinger at (775) 588-0619.
