Yep, even in the mountains it get's hot!! The weather berometer says 96 degrees!! that is crazy hot in my neck of the woods! There are some great festivals going on this weekend. THe Art & Wine festival has kicked off so traffic around Placerville is CRAZY!! prepare for tough parking and sittin in the car! I say, just head up the hill and miss the traffic and do your own wine tasting at Illuminare, Crystal Basin Cellers, & Aruga wine tasting rooms right off of highway 50 at the Cable road exit to the left. There is a big sign on the freeway, you can't miss it! Next weekend 8/10, Crystal Basin Cellers will have another fun event with live music, food and of course - lot's of great wine!! I think it is actually a 'pool party' so bring the sun screen - it is HOT out there! We'll be there, maybe we'll see you! Please drive safe no matter what you get into, and be polite to the others on the road!
