The Rescue Volunteer Fire Association Hot August Night car show and barbecue is set for 5 p.m. to midnight Aug. 18 at 5221 Deer Valley Road, Rescue.

Ticket cost of $25 per person includes dinner, live entertainment provided by the D.B. Walker Band, dancing, prize drawings and car show displaying classic cars, trucks and motorcycles.
