Presolicitation:   Placerville Nursery Greenhouse excavation and grading of building pads to accommodate future greenhouses.  Work includes trenching, backfill, placement of aggregate base on pad, installation of underground utilities, waterlines and appurtenances, storm drainage, seeding, mulching, and construction of concrete slabs.  The project is located from US 50 in Placerville, go east on US 50 5.4 miles to Camino.  Turn left off US 50, then immediately left again onto Carson Road.  Follow Carson Road 1.4 miles to the intersection with North Canyon Road.  Turn right on North Canyon, then left onto Fruitridge.  Follow Fruitridge 0.5 miles to the Nursery.  The Nursery is located at 2375 Fruitridge Road.  NOTE:  There will be a PRE-BID meeting at this location on August 18, 2010, 10:00 AM.  Estimated start work date September 20, 2010, contract time 160 days.  Government estimate is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.  Estimated SOLICITATION issue date is AUGUST 6, 2010.  This is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside.
