Sierra Recovery Center will sponsor a yard sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 30 at 1137 Emerald Bay Road.
Donations of items in good condition can be made by calling Kim at (530) 541-5190 to arrange for pick-up or delivery of donated items. All donations are tax deductible and are greatly appreciated.
Proceeds from the sale will benefit Sierra Recovery Center in its ongoing effort to provide continuous and compassionate recovery to individuals and families affected by addictive behavior.

Georgetown Divide Activities Committee will host the second Rattlesnake-Roadkill Cook-off from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 30 at Veterans of Foreign Wars Park in Georgetown. This popular Placerville event will be hosted again by downtown merchants and will include a street closure for added enjoyment and safety for all patrons. Entertainment will be provided by a variety of live bands. Watching the bands and enjoying the atmosphere on a warm summer night on Main Street will be free, but if you are interested in sampling over 35 different micro-brews, tickets will need to be purchased for patrons over 21 years of age. 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Historic Main Street, Placerville.
