The Cameron Park Community Services District board will meet at 6:30 p.m. today to continue discussing options for developing a community center in phases. Directors at their Nov. 14 meeting were leaning toward redesigning plans to provide an assembly building that could double as a gym and building a competition swimming pool. The district has $10.1 million available for the project, but rising construction costs have boosted the price tag for the entire complex to about $19 million. Today's meeting will be held in the conference room at the Cameron Park Fire Station, 3200 Country Club Drive, Cameron Park.
